About Viridis Conservation
Viridis Conservation is building the compute-and-verification layer for ecological economics: machine-verifiable decision chains for land, carbon, and conservation.
The core service
Viridis builds Verified Decision Chains. Each chain connects authorized ecological evidence, an explicit economic or decision model, deterministic computation, Lean-checked constraints, uncertainty, and a portable verification receipt to one accountable decision.
The chain shows what supports a conclusion, what does not, and what remains for field experts, legal counsel, registries, markets, or the decision owner. A failed gate, evidence gap, or documented hold is a valid result.
Current stage
Viridis is pre-revenue and operating a supervised controlled beta. Post-Fire Carbon Continuity is one bounded research-kernel application within the Natural Asset Continuity decision family. Its $1,500 post-wildfire Remote Remaining-Asset Screen is credited toward a $7,500 diagnostic when deeper evidence is feasible and decision-material.
Viridis is also recruiting a founding business design partner for a Verified Ecological Compliance Chain. This is an unpriced controlled-beta offer for one bounded activity and reporting cycle, not an accredited audit, certification, regulatory approval, legal opinion, or evidence of customer demand.
ViridisOS is the V1 public foundation behind the service: a standalone public release and reusable evidence layer. It has no recorded outside builders, independent verifications, repeat organizations, institutional uses, or settled-value receipts, so it is not presented as an adopted network.
Viridis is not a registry, accreditation body, verification body, land trust, legal service, insurer, appraisal service, or issuer of environmental credits.
Founder
Justin Hart founded Viridis to connect rigorous computational methods with practical conservation work. AI and automation support research, software, and operations; Justin remains accountable for company direction, claims, contracts, customers, publication, and consequential decisions. Founding design partners work directly with Justin during the beta.
